Q4 is typically a battleground for Chinese flagships, and this year is no exception. Vivo has already launched its flagship lineup, Oppo is set to unveil the Find X8 series next week, and the Xiaomi 15 lineup is also on the horizon.
While the Xiaomi 15 series is expected to launch shortly after Qualcomm’s announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip on October 21, surprisingly, there is still little information available about Xiaomi’s upcoming flagships, particularly the standard model.

Xiaomi 15 specs (rumored):
Fortunately, tipster Yogesh Brar has shared the key specifications of the Xiaomi 15. The phone reportedly boasts a 6.36″ 1.5K flat AMOLED display, the same size and resolution as Xiaomi 14.
While he didn’t mention anything about the brightness, a previous rumor claimed that the Xiaomi 15 series will debut the TCL Huaxing C9 display panel, capable of reaching a higher brightness and offering more accurate colors. So the Xiaomi 15 series is also likely to offer a higher brightness than its predecessor.
For context, the Xiaomi 14 reaches 1000 nits in direct sunlight and 3000 nits (peak brightness) while playing HDR content.

Under the hood, the phone will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (or Snapdragon 8 Elite) chipset and a 5,500mAh battery. While this is still relatively smaller than some of its competitors such as the Oppo Find X8 or the vivo X200 Pro Mini, it’s a big jump from the 4610mAh capacity of the predecessor. It could be paired with a 90W wired, 50W wireless charging.
As for the cameras, the phone is rumored to pack a triple 50MP setup on the rear, that includes a OV50H main sensor, and a 3.2X telephoto. For context, this is a shift from the Light Fusion 900 (50MP) main sensor of the predecessor.
The OV50H offers phenomenal low-light and autofocus performance with a dual conversion gain (DCG™) technology powered 1.2‑micron (µm) pixel in a 1/1.3‑inch optical format.
The Xiaomi 15 series is also expected to debut Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 operating system based on Android 15.
