Xiaomi has launched a new projector called Redmi Projector 3 Pro in the Chinese market. The projector is priced at 1,499 Yuan ($210) and it is now up for sale on JD.com starting today. Let’s delve into its key specs.

The Redmi Projector 3 Pro boasts a brightness of 470 CVIA lumens, certified by SGS for accuracy and true-to-spec output, ensuring vivid and bright visuals. The projector is built around an Amlogic T950D4 quad-core processor, clocked at 1.9 GHz, with 1.5GB RAM and 32GB of storage to support smooth video playback and smart features.

The projector supports a 1080P physical resolution with a throw ratio of 1.25:1, allowing a screen size range from 45 to 120 inches. The device is equipped with Xiaomi’s new sealed optical engine and a triple turbine cooling system which promises durability, preventing dust buildup and ensuring efficient operation at a noise level of 26 dB(A).

This projector includes an HD camera and a ToF laser sensing module, which work with AI-based algorithms to offer smart features like automatic focus, omnidirectional correction, and screen obstacle avoidance.

The projector is certified for low blue light by SGS and utilizes diffuse reflection imaging to filter short-wave blue light, enhancing comfort during extended viewing sessions.

Additionally, the projector comes with two 6W speakers that deliver an upgraded audio experience, enhanced with digital amplification for immersive sound quality.

The device integrates Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect for seamless control of other Xiaomi smart devices. This enables the projector to sync with other smart home devices, such as lights and curtains, which can automatically respond when the projector is powered on, creating an optimized environment for a cinema-like experience.

The Redmi Projector 3 Pro also supports multi-screen casting, allowing users to project content from smartphones, tablets, and computers. It can also stream audio from external devices using Bluetooth.
