OnePlus has officially started teasing the OnePlus 13 smartphone in China. Although the launch date remains unconfirmed, it’s expected to debut later this month.
Earlier this week, leaked design renders gave us a glimpse of the phone, and now real-life images have also surfaced on Weibo.

The renders reveal that the OnePlus 13 features a familiar camera module on the left but with some noticeable changes. Most notably, the border extending from the camera module to the left has been removed.

The smartphone also appears in several color options, including black, white, and an interesting dark blue variant with a white camera module.
These images align with the company’s teaser, giving us a good idea of what the upcoming phone will look like. The teaser also includes the phrase “see you next week,” suggesting the launch could happen soon, possibly next week.

Expected Specifications
The OnePlus 13 is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch BOE X2 LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits and 1,600 nits in high brightness mode (HBM). It’s also expected to come with a large 6,000mAh battery, an IP68/69 water resistance rating, 100W fast charging, and 50W magnetic wireless charging.

Moreover, the smartphone is also expected to be among the first to feature a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4/ 8 Elite processor. The SoC may even outperform iPhone 16 Pro’s A18 Pro in some benchmarks.
A significant upgrade is the switch to an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is generally faster and more secure than the optical sensor found on its predecessor. Unlike optical sensors, ultrasonic ones can work with wet or dirty fingers, a feature seen on top-tier phones like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro.
