Casio and Hello Kitty have collaborated on several occasions to create limited-edition watches and other products. These collaborations often feature Hello Kitty-themed designs, colors, and patterns incorporated into Casio’s popular watch models. The brand has continued this tradition to celebrate Casio’s G-Shock and Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary with the launch of a limited edition watch called the G-Shock DW-5600KT24-1JR.

The watch keeps the familiar DW-5600 look but adds a touch of Hello Kitty, featuring a glowing bow and a special case back to celebrate the occasion. The subtle design nods to Hello Kitty fans while maintaining G-Shock’s well-known ruggedness.

As part of the tough-as-nails DW-5600 series, this model offers 20 ATM water resistance and a shock-resistant build, so it’s great for everyday wear or outdoor adventures. The watch is expected to feature a 1/100-second stopwatch, shock resistance, an electro-luminescent backlight, and a 24-hour countdown timer. It may also include an auto calendar, alarm, hourly time signal, and a durable resin band and case.
Set to launch in Japan this October, the watch is priced at ¥18,700 (around $126). While it’s not confirmed for a global release yet, past collaborations suggest it might be available internationally. It’s already listed on the Casio Japan site but isn’t up for purchase just yet.
Casio is set to release the DQD-851J-8JF desk clock in Japan on October 25. Inspired by the retro A158 digital wristwatch, it includes a Wave Ceptor function for automatic time adjustment in Japan, a built-in thermometer and hygrometer, a customizable snooze alarm, a 12/24-hour format, an auto calendar, and an amber LED light.
