Dangbei has launched a new portable projector called the Dangbei Smart 1, now available on JD.com. The projector is listed at 1,899 yuan ($266) but is currently available for a discounted initial price of 1,779 yuan ($250).

Dangbei Smart 1 is designed as a “mini portable cinema” with a weight of just 1.2 kg, making it highly portable. It has a small footprint, with dimensions comparable to a milk tea cup.
It is housed in an elegant, lightweight chassis and comes equipped with a U-shaped, integrated gimbal for stable projection, offering a 165° vertical adjustment to ensure seamless viewing from any angle.
The projector uses advanced DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, which offers better color accuracy, contrast, and sharper images compared to traditional LCD projectors.
It offers 500 lumens brightness (CVIA standard) and full HD 1080p resolution with 4K decoding support. It features MEMC motion compensation for smoother playback, especially in fast-moving scenes. The Smart 1 operates on Android 13, powered by a MediaTek MT9 series chipset, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The device features auto-focus, auto-keystone correction, and smart image alignment, making it easy to set up in any environment. It also has low blue light certification from TÜV Rheinland, which ensures eye protection through diffuse reflection imaging, making it suitable for prolonged viewing.
The Smart 1 supports multiple wireless screen projection protocols like AirPlay, Android Cast, Huawei Cast+, and Windows screen casting, enabling seamless connectivity across devices. It includes Bluetooth 5.1 and Type-C power input, along with HDMI and USB interfaces, making it compatible with various devices, including gaming consoles and PCs.
Sound-wise, the projector integrates 360° surround speakers, certified by Dolby for an immersive audio experience. It can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker when needed. Additionally, the Smart 1 features an upgraded AI voice assistant for hands-free control and interaction.
Dangbei also recently launched the F7 Pro 4K, a premium projector featuring tri-color laser technology, 3600 lumens brightness, and AI capabilities.
