OnePlus is gearing up to launch its flagship OnePlus 13 smartphone on October 31 in China. Ahead of the launch, the brand has expanded its 100W SuperVOOC power bank lineup with a new variant featuring a dark brown wood effect finish. Initially launched in green/white and silver/white colorways, the accessory is now available for pre-order on Oppo’s online store in China.
While the product listing doesn’t provide many additional details, the new wood-effect model is expected to offer features similar to those of its predecessors. This includes a maximum output of 100W, dual USB-A, and USB-C ports, support for various charging protocols, and a 12,000mAh battery capacity.
It even supports 45W fast charging for compatible laptops and can recharge itself from 1% to 100% in 90 minutes thanks to its 45W high-speed self-charging function. The power bank features a dynamic breathing light that displays the current power level with a single click. A double click activates a low current mode specifically designed for safely charging smaller devices like smartwatches and headphones.
Pricing & availability
The new power bank is listed at Oppo Mall for 9,999 yuan (~$1,406), though this is just a placeholder price and the final retail cost may differ. The previously launched colorways have a price tag of 299 yuan (approximately $41 USD).
In other news, OnePlus has introduced the OnePlus Magnetic Turbine, a magnetic wireless charger supporting up to 50W AirVOOC charging. It features a sleek white design with a red accent and is compatible with iPhones. Equipped with a built-in fan and a comprehensive cooling system, it manages heat effectively. This launch follows Oppo’s upcoming magnetic charger release with the Find X8 series on October 24.
