Xiaomi just announced the launch date for its new flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 15 series. The upcoming premium devices are set to launch on 29th October 2024. However, the smartphones aren’t alone as the company also plans to unveil the Xiaomi Pad 7 series and Xiaomi Band 9 Pro next week as well.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Series & Smart Bank 9 Pro Launch Date
The Chinese tech giant has confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Series and Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro will launch alongside the Xiaomi 15 series on October 29. Fresh teasers were shared recently, showcasing the design of the new tablets and smart wearable. The Xiaomi Pad 7 series can be seen with a tall display with a stylus. We covered a leak earlier this month, which revealed some of its key specs and features. It may sport an 11.16-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Although, the Pro model might offer an OLED screen.
The higher end model is rumored to pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, while the base variant could offer the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. These differences also carry forward with the charging speeds. A 3C certification sighting confirmed 67W and 45W wired charging support respectively. The series may run on a massive 10,000mAh battery pack and run on the Android 15 OS based HyperOS 2.0 custom skin out of the box.
Around two weeks ago, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro renders surfaced in a leak. But the design of this wearable has been officially revealed. It is expected to feature a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a 336 x 480 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 600 nits. The Smart Band 9 Pro likely offers various health and fitness tracking functions like heart rate tracking and blood oxygen monitoring.
