OnePlus officially unveiled its much-anticipated flagship smartphone for 2024, the OnePlus 13. Packed with cutting-edge technology, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a redesigned cooling system, an impressive battery, and support for magnetic accessories, the OnePlus 13 aims to elevate the user experience. 1. Display and protection

The OnePlus 13 debuts the second-generation 2K Oriental screen, featuring a 6.82-inch BOE X2 display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 4500 nits, this phone also introduces “Sun Display” technology, aimed at improving outdoor visibility.

The “Crystal Shield Super Ceramic Glass” enhances durability, claiming a 500% increase in drop resistance and a 70% improvement in impact resistance. Additionally, the display is certified by DisplayMate with an A++ rating and supports advanced touch features like Glove touch and Rain touch.

2. Performance and cooling

At the heart of the OnePlus 13 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, offering a significant 45% improvement in both single-core and multi-core performance, along with a 40% enhancement in GPU performance.

The company also talked about its self-developed Tidal Engine, which improves the gaming experience even further. OnePlus is promising 4 years of smooth use with this system.
