The price hike can be attributed to the rising costs of key components, particularly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is rumored to be 25-30% more expensive than its predecessor.

OnePlus 13 specifications (expected)

The OnePlus 13, as recently listed on TENAA, is set to feature a 6.82-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. In China, the device will run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, offering RAM options of 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB, alongside storage configurations of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The phone is equipped with a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, weighing in at 213 grams, which supports 100W wired charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging. With dimensions of 162 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, the device is slightly heavier, owing to the larger battery.

On the camera front, the OnePlus 13 will feature a 32MP front camera for selfies and a rear triple-camera setup: a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, optimized by Hasselblad for enhanced image quality. Additional features include an IR blaster, multifunctional NFC, an upgraded vibration motor, and an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
