Oppo has introduced its 2024 flagship smartphones, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, in China, boasting upgraded designs and significant camera advancements.
While they aren’t yet officially available outside China, enthusiasts worldwide can still import these models through sites like Giztop and TradingShenzhen.
These retailers are among the first to offer the devices internationally, allowing fans to get early access to the latest releases while they are officially exclusive to China.
However, imported versions come with a few software limitations, such as a lack of Android Auto support and potential compatibility issues with some banking and contactless payment apps. Nonetheless, Google Play Services are included, meaning most apps should function without issues.
Price tag for those willing to import
Giztop offers the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro at starting prices of $699 and $899, respectively, for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB models.
TradingShenzhen, while generally priced higher, also sells the regular and Pro models, starting around $725 and $920 for the 12GB+256GB variant.
These options provide global Oppo fans with access to the latest flagship hardware, although careful consideration of import limitations is advised.
Under the hood, both phones are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset, a robust alternative to Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Dimensity 9400, built on a 3nm process, boasts improved CPU architecture that delivers substantial boosts in both single-core and multi-core speeds, along with a 40% enhancement in power efficiency, which helps extend battery life significantly.
