Samsung recently introduced its latest W series of foldable smartphones in China. But now, it has finally launched these foldable phones, confirming their specs, pricing, and availability. These models are the brand’s exclusive China only foldable models, so here’s everything you need to know about the Samsung W25.
Samsung W25: What makes it special?
To recall, the South Korean tech giant’s new W25 model is quite similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 but with some upgrades. Although, it gets a unique flair with a ceramic black, “Heart to the World” logo, a delicate matte touch, and a gold armor aluminum frame. That’s not all, this model is even 1.5mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, measuring just 10.6mm when folded.

It sports a tall 8-inch QXGA+ (2184 x 1968 pixels) resolution, 20:18 Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 2600 nits peak brightness. The cover screen is a 6.5-inch 21:9 HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Cover Display, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 2600 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, which is paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The rear has a 200MP main camera, instead of the 50MP primary sensor on the Z Fold 6. This is paired with a 12MP ultra wide angle lens and a 10MP telephoto shooter. For selfies and video calls, there is a 10MP shooter on the external screen and a 4MP under display camera on the main display. A 4,400mAh battery pack powers the Samsung S25, which supports 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Other notable features include a side mounted fingerprint scanner, IP48 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and Android 14 OS based One UI 6.1.1 custom skin out of the box.
