Redmi is expected to unveil its K80 and K80 Pro smartphones in China later this month. These devices are expected to launch globally as rebranded models in the Poco F7 series.
The Redmi K80 will likely be branded as the standard Poco F7, while the K80 Pro may take on the Poco F7 Ultra name.
Recently, the Poco F7 appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification website, hinting at a global release soon. The device is listed with model number 24117RK2CG, where the “G” suffix indicates it’s a global model.

As usual, the listing doesn’t reveal any specs but confirms 5G connectivity. It also shows support for standard features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. Before this, both the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra models appeared on the IMEI database.
Poco F7 Pro: What we know so far
The Redmi K80 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and based on the historical relationship between the two brands, the Poco F7 Pro is likely to follow suit.
Likewise, we are expecting an OLED panel on the front with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It may also house a substantial 6000mAh battery. Recently, the Redmi K80 appeared on China’s 3C certification site, showing 120W charging, which the Poco F7 Pro will likely match.

An alleged real-life image of the Redmi K80 has also surfaced in a report, revealing a redesigned look with a circular camera island. It’s still unclear if the Poco F7 Pro will adopt the same design.
While the official launch date for the Poco F7 Pro hasn’t been confirmed, the IMDA certification hints that it’s just around the corner. With the Redmi K80 series expected to debut in China later this month, a global launch for the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra is likely to follow soon after.
