1. Specifications and Features

At the core of the Redmi Buds 6 Pro is Xiaomi’s first coaxial ceramic triple drivers, a significant advancement in audio engineering. This design is expected to deliver enhanced audio clarity, with rich bass, detailed mids, and crisp treble. The triple-driver setup positions the Buds 6 Pro as a contender in the premium wireless audio space, catering to audiophiles and casual users alike.

The earbuds will support three high-definition audio codecs: MIHC, LHDC 5.0, and LC3, allowing users to enjoy lossless audio quality on compatible devices. Additionally, the earbuds will feature dynamic head-tracking spatial audio, ensuring a theater-like soundstage for a more immersive listening experience.

For noise cancellation, the Redmi Buds 6 Pro offers 55dB deep noise cancellation along with stepless adaptive noise cancellation technology. This advanced system adjusts noise cancellation levels in real-time based on the environment, making it ideal for commuting, work, and other noisy scenarios.

2. Design and Comfort

The Redmi Buds 6 Pro adopts an in-ear design for a secure and ergonomic fit. Xiaomi has revealed that the earbuds will be available in four color options: Glazed White, Mystical Black, Jade Green, and a special Gaming Edition. The stems feature Xiaomi’s latest uppercase REDMI logo, adding a stylish touch to the overall design.

These earbuds are also equipped with 3MIC AI wind noise reduction, ensuring crystal-clear voice calls even in windy conditions. This feature, combined with the adaptive noise cancellation, positions the Buds 6 Pro as an excellent choice for both work and leisure.

3. Battery Life and Connectivity

Battery life is always a critical factor for wireless earbuds, and the Redmi Buds 6 Pro is expected to deliver impressive performance. While detailed specifications on battery life are yet to be announced, Xiaomi is likely to ensure extended playtime similar to or better than the Redmi Buds 6, which offered up to 42 hours of total battery life with the case.

Connectivity will also see an upgrade with Bluetooth 5.4 and seamless pairing options through the Xiaomi Headphones App. Features like dual-device connection and quick connect are expected, further enhancing user convenience.

4. Pricing and Availability

The Redmi Buds 6 Pro is already listed for pre-order on JD.com, with official sales starting on November 27. Although pricing details haven’t been confirmed yet, Xiaomi’s track record suggests the earbuds will be competitively priced, likely targeting the mid-range segment.

Redmi is also set to launch the K80 series smartphones alongside Buds 6 Pro, marking a shift in strategy by positioning the K-series as its most premium lineup, bridging the gap with Xiaomi’s flagship models. The series will feature two models, K80 and K80 Pro, with a new bold “REDMI” logo, and will omit the K80e variant seen in previous generations.
