Earlier today, HUAWEI hosted a launch event unveiling the Mate 70 series smartphones, along with the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design smartwatch and the Mate X6 smartphones. Additionally, the brand introduced the 2025 model of the MatePad Pro 13.2, a flagship tablet featuring a larger display and improved performance over its predecessor.

The tablet features a 13.2-inch 2.8K 144Hz flexible OLED display, delivering vivid colors and deep contrast. With a 94% screen-to-body ratio, the design minimizes bezels for an immersive viewing experience. The PaperMatte Edition provides a textured, anti-glare surface for users who prefer a paper-like feel.

The MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025) includes the 3rd-gen M-Pencil stylus, designed for low-latency, precise input. The Fangtian Painting Engine 2.0 supports an 8K canvas and over 500 layers, allowing for smooth creative work, including strokes at 120 fps.

Huawei has not disclosed the processor powering the tablet but claims it delivers high performance and efficient multitasking, thanks to ample RAM. Equipped with a dual-cell 5050mAh battery (totaling 10100mAh), the tablet offers extended usage. Its 100W Turbo Charging technology enables rapid recharging, reaching 85% in just 40 minutes and a full charge in 55 minutes.

The camera system includes a 13MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 16MP front camera for video calls and selfies. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and dual satellite communication for reliable operation in remote areas.

Pricing & availability

Available in Ink Stone Black, White, and Gold, the MatePad Pro 13.2 comes in various configurations. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 5,199 yuan (around USD 718), while the top-tier Collector’s Edition with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs 10,599 yuan (around USD 1,464).
