Back in April 2024, Xiaomi debuted two new waterproof Bluetooth speakers in the global market. These were the Xiaomi Sound Pocket and the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor. Now, the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor speakers are also set to launch in India soon.
Xiaomi Sound Outdoor Speaker: What makes it special?
The Chinese tech giant is set to launch in the region in three color options, namely Red, Black, and Blue variants. While it isn’t as compact as the Sound Pocket model, it’s built with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. So you can use it outdoors and don’t need to worry about splashes, rain, or dirt that could ruin other basic Bluetooth speakers. Xiaomi will be launching the Sound Outdoor speakers alongside the Redmi Note 14 series in the Indian market on 9th December 2024.
The portable speaker can deliver a 30W sound output from its subwoofer, tweeter, and two passive radiators. The brand promises to offer rich bass from its enhanced sound quality. It has a 2,600mAh battery pack, which can last for up to 12 hours on a 50 percent volume setting. This model supports Bluetooth 5.4, which can connect with another speaker for stereo sound or even link with up to 100 other speakers for a larger sound system. It is built with a sturdy body and easy to carry design. It has rubber feet and a strap for better portability.
You can even make calls since it supports an integrated microphone. The Xiaomi Sound Outdoor speaker will launch next week along with the Redmi Note 14 series. But unfortunately, its pricing and availability details are still at large.
