Honor has officially announced the launch of its new GT series smartphone, scheduled for Dec.16 at 19:30pm (local time) in China. Yesterday, the brand released the first teaser of the phone to give a hint about its rear design. Today, it has released a couple of promotional images to showcase its white variant.
Honor GT design revealed

As can be seen in the new images, the Honor GT’s white variant has a dual-tone design equipped with flat edges. The rectangular rear camera setup includes dual cameras and a dual-tone flash, with a prominent red “GT” logo at the bottom-right corner. The bottom edge of the phone has a speaker, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a SIM slot.
The design is sleek and robust, hinting at a device focused on high performance and gaming, offering excellent value for money. While specific configurations have not been revealed, leaks suggest the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. It is expected to feature a 1.5K OLED flat screen and support 100W wired fast charging.

Industry insiders have praised Honor’s consistent performance and reliability, suggesting that the GT series will be competitive against similar models from other brands. It is expected to rival existing models, such as the Redmi K80 and the iQOO Neo 10. It will also compete with upcoming phones, such as the Realme Neo 7 and OnePlus Ace 5. Except for the Neo 7, which has the Dimensity 9300 Plus chip, all the other phones are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
According to Honor’s CEO, Zhao Ming, the GT series will showcase unique and penetrating design concepts tailored for the AI era. The series is positioned as aimed at young users eager to experience the latest advancements.
