OnePlus has released the V20P01 December update, which brings a range of improvements and new features to a wide range of its smartphones and tablets. This update is being rolled out gradually, starting from December 2nd, 2024, and will reach all eligible devices by January 2nd, 2025.

The V20P01 update is designed to improve functionality, aesthetics, and performance. It introduces a variety of new features, refines existing tools, and improves system stability, ensuring users have a smoother and more enjoyable experience.
Notable changes include redesigned Weather and Clock widgets, which improve layout and usability on the Home screen. New styles for Clock widgets offer more customization options.
In the Photos app, the update adds a filtered view to help users better organize their photos, videos, and favorite content. A slider now shows photo dates while browsing, making it easier to navigate. Users can also lock entire photo albums, providing greater privacy and convenience. Another feature, ProXDR, ensures that high-dynamic-range photos retain their quality even after editing with watermarks. Additionally, the update integrates a new boarding pass recognition feature, enabling users to scan and save passes directly to Google Wallet.
