Earlier today, Xiaomi hosted a launch event in India for the Redmi Note 14 series smartphones, the Redmi Buds 6, and the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor speaker. Alongside these gadgets, the brand has also introduced the Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank in India, combining portability with advanced charging features.
Xiaomi Ultra Power Bank features
The Ultra Slim Power Bank has a capacity of 4900mAh battery, weighing just 93g and measuring 10mm in thickness (dimensions: 113 x 53 x 10 mm), fitting easily into pockets or bags. It provides a 20W maximum output, compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
The power bank supports 18W fast input for recharging, ensuring minimal downtime. Its USB Type-C port allows for two-way charging, functioning as both an input and output port, eliminating the need for separate ports for charging the power bank and other devices. It also supports a wide range of charging protocols, including PD3.0, PPS, QC3.5, AFC, and FCP, ensuring compatibility with various devices.
Xiaomi has prioritized safety with 12 built-in layers of protection, offering safeguards against overcharging, overheating, and short circuits. The power bank also includes a convenient carry pouch for added portability and protection. It charges in approximately 1 hour and 32 minutes with a 33W charger and slightly longer with a 22.5W charger.
Pricing & availability
Crowdfunding has begun today on mi.com, with a crowdfunding price of ₹1,799 and an early bird offer of ₹1,499 for the first 1,000 units. Sales will start on December 13th, 2024, at 12 PM. It is available in a single Space Grey color.
