OnePlus Rolls Out Android 15-Based OxygenOS 15 Update for OnePlus 11

OnePlus has begun rolling out its latest Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 11, its second major update as it launched with Android 13 onboard. It is expected to receive at least two more Android versions in the future.

The OxygenOS 15 update (CPH2447_15.0.0.201) introduces a host of new features and enhancements aimed at improving functionality, personalization, and user experience. Initially available in the India (IN) region, the update will expand to North America (NA) and Europe (EU) within three weeks, pending smooth implementation.

The update introduces a new graphics engine for smoother animations and transitions during multitasking and app switching. Swipe gestures are now consistent across the system, including third-party apps, ensuring uniform navigation.

Photography features are improved with AI Retouch, which sharpens blurred images, removes reflections, and improves color accuracy. Live Photos capture three seconds of motion, and reversible editing allows adjustments without losing previous edits.

Customization options now include flux themes and expanded personalization for the Always-On Display, Lock screen, and Home screen. Interface improvements feature smoother transitions and uniformly rounded corners.

AI tools boost productivity with AI Notes, which organizes fragmented content, improves text quality, and removes filler words from voice recordings. New gesture controls simplify multitasking, enabling easier management of floating windows and split screens.

Connectivity updates include smoother Wi-Fi transitions and iOS file-sharing support via OnePlus Share. A new Charging Limit feature stops charging at 80% to protect battery health during prolonged charging.

Privacy updates provide categorized views in the Private Safe for easier data management and quick access to hidden apps from the Home screen. Notifications and Quick Settings are redesigned for better usability, and widgets for Clock and Notes are optimized.
