Huawei Mate X6 Unveiled Globally
The Chinese tech giant first unveiled the Mate X6 in China back in November. Now, Huawei is finally bringing its next gen flagship foldable smartphone globally. This model features a tall 7.93-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K+ resolution, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and up to 1800 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the cover display is a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 3D quad curved screen, 1440Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ resolution, and up to 2500 nits of peak brightness.
Huawei built the Mate X6 with a marble like glass panel or vegan leather for the rear panel. This foldable phone also measures ultra thin 9.9mm when folded and measures 239 grams in weight. Under the hood, the Huawei Mate X6 is equipped with the Kirin 9020 SoC, which is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. A large 5,110mAh battery pack, which offers 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
On the rear, there is a quad camera setup with a 50MP (Main) + 40MP (Ultrawide) + 48MP (Telephoto) + 1.5MP (Spectral Channels Ultra Chroma Camera). The front has an 8MP selfie camera. The Huawei Mate X6 is available in multiple color options, namely Nebula Red, Black, and Nebula Gray. As of right now, this model can be ordered in the UAE through Huawei’s online website for 7,199 AED (roughly 1,960 US Dollars). Those who pre-order the foldable phone get free Huawei Care+ and Huawei Watch GT 4, which are worth 2698 Yuan.
