Oppo has officially announced that the Oppo A5 Pro will be launched on Dec. 24 in China. This announcement follows the legacy of its predecessor, the Oppo A3 Pro, which was renowned for its durability. The A3 Pro was the first in the industry to pass IP69, IP68, and IP66 dust and water resistance tests, achieving the highest level of water resistance.

The Oppo A3 Pro was exceptionally durable. Apart from offering an IP69 level of dust and water resistance, the device also came equipped with featured Oppo’s Crystal Shield glass, which enhanced its drop resistance by 160% compared to regular glass. It also received the SGS Golden Five-Star certification for comprehensive drop and impact resistance.

The Oppo A5 Pro, as an iterative model, is expected to build on this foundation, taking durability to the next level, making it highly anticipated. The A5 Pro, which bears the PKP110 model number, has already received TENAA certification in China. As expected, the certification has revealed almost everything about the device.
