LG Electronics is introducing its new UltraGear GX9 series gaming monitors at CES 2025. The lineup is led by the 45GX990A, which highlights LG’s advancements in OLED technology and delivers enhanced gaming performance.

Key Features of the 45GX990A and 45GX950A
The 45GX990A, a 45-inch OLED monitor, has received three CES 2025 Innovation Awards, including the prestigious “Best of Innovation.” Its companion model, the 45GX950A, shares many of the same features, including an 800R curved screen and DisplayPort 2.1 compatibility. Both models offer 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160) on 21:9 OLED panels, providing deeper blacks, vivid colors, and low blue light certification to reduce eye strain.

These monitors include LG’s second-generation Dual-Mode functionality, which allows users to customize aspect ratios (21:9 or 16:9) and screen sizes (39, 34, or 27 inches) for a more personalized gaming experience across genres like FPS, RPGs, and racing games. LG’s Anti-Glare & Low Reflection coating ensures clear visuals even in brightly lit settings.
LG UltraGear 39GX90SA: A Smart Gaming Solution

The 39GX90SA integrates LG’s webOS platform, turning this 39-inch curved OLED monitor into a multi-purpose entertainment hub. It offers easy access to streaming services and games without requiring additional devices. Its 21:9 aspect ratio, USB Type-C connectivity, and adjustable stand balance performance with convenience.
Connectivity and Compatibility
The 45GX990A and 45GX950A support DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery. Both monitors feature variable refresh rate (VRR) support and certifications for NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, ensuring a smooth and stutter-free gaming experience.
Availability and Pricing
Scheduled for a Q1 2025 launch, the UltraGear GX9 series reflects LG’s focus on innovation in gaming technology. Pricing information will be announced during CES 2025.
