The OPPO Find N5, the brand’s next flagship foldable smartphone, has cleared key global certifications, indicating its imminent launch. Expected to be unveiled in early 2025, the device has made its way into Malaysia’s SIRIM database, Indonesia’s SDPPI registry, and the Camera FV-5 certification list (spotted by Thetechoutlook).

The Malaysian SIRIM certification lists the device under the mobile phone category with a type approval code of ‘RGQL/22I/1224/S(24-5928),’ valid until December 2029. Similarly, in Indonesia, the SDPPI database approves the device under certificate number ‘106682/SDPPI/2024,’ confirming its classification as a mobile phone and its production in China.

Camera FV-5 listings reveal advanced imaging capabilities, including a rear camera rated at 12.6MP (50MP with Pixel Binning) and a front camera rated at 7.1MP (28MP with Pixel Binning). Both cameras support electronic image stabilization (EIS). The rear camera features a 5.0mm focal length with an f/1.9 aperture, while the front camera has a 1.9mm focal length with an f/2.4 aperture.

Building on the success of its predecessor, the Find N3, the Find N5 is expected to bring significant upgrades. It will reportedly feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Android 15 with ColorOS 15, and enhanced displays. The main and cover displays are expected to measure 8 inches, offering 2K resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate and offering an ultra-flat design.

A triple rear camera system, featuring three 50MP lenses, including a wide, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, will anchor the device’s photography capabilities. The phone is also rumored to include a 5700mAh battery, 50W wireless charging, 80W wired charging, an IPX8 waterproof body, a zero-crease hinge, and compatibility with Apple’s ecosystem.
