Casio’s G-Shock GM-5600, a popular digital watch known for its rugged durability and iconic square design is getting a new look through a collaboration with Los Angeles fashion label C2H4. The “Space Age” edition, launching January 9, combines retro design elements from the 1960s with modern features.

The watch features a silver stainless steel bezel paired with a translucent gray resin band accented by bold red markings, reflecting the color palette of the Space Age era. The watch face features a retro-futuristic style, complemented by an LED backlight that illuminates a red graphic of the Theme Building at Los Angeles International Airport, a landmark of mid-century modern architecture.

Collectors and fans of G-Shock will appreciate the attention to detail in the watch’s packaging. The “Space Age” edition comes in a custom-designed retro case inspired by the ATC Genie Telephone, adding a nostalgic touch. Like other GM-5600 models, this edition includes features such as 200-meter water resistance, shock resistance, and a full auto-calendar, balancing style, and functionality.
