Audio-Technica just unveiled a brand new TWS earbuds at the CES 2025. Seeing features like hybrid ANC, water resistance, or more aren’t exciting or new in the hearables market anymore. Premium models typically focus on spatial audio or improving the sound quality overall. But the Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 TWS earbuds takes a different approach in innovation with an impressive audio playback.
All-Day Music with Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2
We have already seen long battery life when you include the charging case, but the Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 offers a standalone playback that can last for more than a day. To put things simply, most earbuds offer up to 6 to 7 hours of audio playback from the buds and more with the case, while the ATH-CKS50TW2 brings up to 25 hours from the buds themselves. Pairing it with the charging case, you get up to 65 hours.
With ANC enabled, the total standalone playback drops to around 15 hours, or 40 hours with the charging case. These earbuds also support Qi wireless charging along with Type C charging. The Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 has a pebble shaped design that offers a snug fit and houses 9mm Dynamic drivers. You get support for magnetic switch technology that can automatically turn off earbuds when the magnets connect like wireless earphones.
It comes with advanced hybrid active noise cancellation technology for improved situation awareness. To enhance the calling experience, the ATH-CKS50TW2 has dual MEMS microphones along with beamforming tech. Other notable features include multipoint connection, Bluetooth 5.3, Siri and Google Assistant support. It is available for purchase two colors options, namely Black and Beige.
