Infinix is reportedly preparing to launch the GT 30 Pro, as the smartphone has been spotted on the IMEI database with the model number X6873. While the listing does not provide any details about its hardware specifications, it indicates the device may debut soon, potentially as the successor to the GT 20 Pro released last year.

In the meantime, we can look at the Infinix GT 20 Pro to get a better idea of what to expect from its successor. The GT 20 Pro launched as a mid-range gaming smartphone, features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. At its core, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The GT 20 Pro features a mecha-inspired design with an RGB mini LED array and a C-shaped ring on the rear. It houses a triple rear camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor and dual 2MP sensors, alongside a 32MP front camera. A 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging powers the phone.
The device is designed for gaming and includes a Pixelworks X5 Turbo chip, X Boost gaming mode, and delivers up to 90fps performance in most games. It runs on XOS 14 based on Android 14.
Additional features include NFC, USB Type-C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, dual JBL-powered speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor, and software support for two Android OS updates and three years of security updates.
In other news, Infinix is also working on the Note 50 smartphone, which was revealed to feature 45W fast charging capability. It is said to be priced under Rs 15,000.
