Last month, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones in China. The Pro variant, which debuted with a price tag of 3,399 Yuan (~$465), currently holds the title of the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphone. Starting today, this phone has become even cheaper than ever thanks to an official price cut of 400 Yuan (~$55) and an additional national subsidy.

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro receives massive price cut within one month of launch

China’s national subsidy program is officially live starting today. It brings discounts on purchases of smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches. Taking advantage of this opportunity, many smartphone manufacturers have launched promotional campaigns, combining price cuts with subsidies to attract consumers.

Today, OnePlus officially announced that the Ace 5 Pro smartphone is now available at a limited-time discount of 400 Yuan across all variants, with a starting price of 2,999 Yuan (~$410). Existing customers will also enjoy price protection, ensuring they get a refund if the price drops. Moreover, the Ace 5 Pro supports an additional 15 percent national subsidy on top of the discounted price, bringing the effective starting price to approximately 2,549.15 Yuan (~$350). This significant price cut, introduced less than a month after its launch, is an irresistible offer for buyers.
