We already know that Nothing is working on the Phone (3) model. It is expected to make its debut later this year. But while there are no details regarding its announcement, the company shared a fresh teaser that might have confirmed a new special edition model along with the upcoming device.
Nothing Phone (3) Pokemon Special Edition in the works?
In the tweet, the brand shared a picture of Gen 1 Pokemon Arcanine (Via MySmartPrice). This could be hinting at the brand’s plan to unveil a Nothing x Arcanin special edition model. If this is true, it might feature the Pokemon’s colors or other kinds of design inspirations. Nothing has released limited edition phones for its older phones, so there might be a larger collaboration coming in future models.
Arcanine might be the codename for the Nothing Phone (3). So this might just be a teaser for the smartphone and not a special edition confirmation. Unfortunately, this is all the information that we could decipher from the tweet. Earlier this month, leaked emails from Carl Pei showcased the brand’s ambitious plans for 2025 with a Nothing Phone (3) along with a new “landmark” device as well.
Based on what we know so far, the company plans to launch the Nothing Phone (3) sometime in the first half of 2025. This model is expected to offer “breakthrough innovations in the user interface.” It may be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC along with support for an eSIM. Nothing may launch the Phone (3) for around 30,000 INR and it may be the first phone from the brand to offer a telephoto camera.
