Samsung has launched an exciting new subscription plan for the Galaxy S25 flagship series in South Korea. Dubbed the “New Galaxy AI Subscription Club,” the service enables users to use the newest Galaxy smartphones at a low monthly fee.

Samsung introduced the AI Subscription Club, which is for renting AI-powered home appliances, last month in the same country. The “New Galaxy AI Subscription Club” has now expanded to include smartphones and tablets starting with the Galaxy S25 series.

New Galaxy AI Subscription Club: what are the benefits?

This service lets South Korean users subscribe to a Galaxy S25 smartphone for 12 or 24 months with a monthly fee of KRW 5,900, approximately $4.09. This would mean that subscribers will be able to use a Galaxy S25 effectively for a whole year for just $48. Although this sounds almost too good to be true, the full details of the pricing and terms may still need clarification, as the press release is currently only available in Korean.

The subscription service officially launches on January 24, 2025, just two days after the Galaxy S25 series’ debut. This new subscription plan offers more than just reduced upfront costs. Subscribers can enjoy a range of perks:

If users return their Galaxy S25 after 12 months, they’ll receive up to 50% of the phone’s listed price on Samsung’s official website. This credit can be used to purchase the next Galaxy S-series device, essentially offering the new phone at half price. For those who return the device after 24 months, Samsung gives up to 40% of the price of the device as a credit.

Subscribers will get “Samsung Care+ Smartphone Damage+” protection free of extra cost. In this program, users will reportedly get free repair service for accidental damage or any other cause without charging. Discounts on accessories such as cases and battery packs will also be available with this program

According to Lim Sung-Taek, Vice President of Samsung Electronics South Korea, the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club is intended to redefine how people buy mobile devices. For more daily updates, please visit our News Section.
