MSI‘s second-generation MEG VISION X AI Phantom desktop PC is now available in China via JD.com. The machine was unveiled earlier this month at the CES tech show. In China, this PC is priced at 29,999 yuan (~US$4,141). This high-performance desktop boasts cutting-edge hardware and an innovative design, targeting enthusiasts and professionals.

The MEG VISION X includes a 13-inch FHD AI HMI touchscreen that acts as a control hub for MSI’s AI applications. The screen, which has built-in speakers and a microphone, can also function as a secondary display for improved productivity. Users can customize the interface using widgets, while AI features adjust settings automatically based on usage patterns.
The desktop is equipped with an 8-core Intel Core Ultra-9 285K processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. It comes with 48GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD, leveraging SSD Gen 5.0 technology to improve AI model training speeds by 1.18x. An 8-pin PCIe power connector provides stable power to the GPU for demanding applications.
MSI’s Silent Storm Cooling AI system uses a dedicated air chamber, AI-regulated fans, and SSD temperature monitoring to manage heat effectively. Glacier Armor heatsinks reduce component temperatures by 25%, supporting consistent performance during heavy workloads.
The desktop features Wi-Fi 7, which allows transfer speeds of up to 5.8 Gbps—a 2.4x increase over earlier standards. This upgrade supports faster streaming, quicker file transfers, and reliable wireless performance for users with high bandwidth needs.
