Samsung is rolling out the January 2025 security patch to the Galaxy A55, which includes fixes from both Google and Samsung. With this patch, Google fixes 5 critical and 24 high-level CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures). Reportedly, two CVEs aren’t applicable for Galaxy devices.

Meanwhile, Samsung has added its won fixes to the patch, which includes 22 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items. As reported by Sammy Fans, these are aimed at fixing issues with Samsung’s Sound Picker, Samsung Messages, Notification Manager, and Bootloader. Other than these crucial security fixes, the update also optimizes system stability for an improved user experience.
