On Feb. 6, Asus will unveil the Zenfone 12 Ultra for the global market. It will arrive as a successor to last year’s Zenfone 11 Ultra. The company hasn’t revealed any specifications of the device yet. However, an X post released by the brand reveals the front and a few features of the new phone.
Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra’s front design revealed
The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra can be seen sporting a flat display with narrow bezels on all four sides. While it is not very clear, the bezels could be thinner than the previous generation.
The commercial shows the person using an AI-based real-time call translation feature, indicating that the Zenfone 12 Ultra could be equipped with multiple AI-driven features. The handset shown in the image appears to have a cyan shade and seems to have a protruding camera module. The bottom edge of the phone features a 3.5mm audio jack, making it one of the rare flagship phones to retain this nearly extinct feature.
Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra specifications
On the specs front, the Geekbench listing of the Zenfone 12 Ultra that surfaced earlier this month revealed that it features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 16 GB of RAM, and Android 15. The rest of the device’s specs are under wraps.
Speculations are rife that the Zenfone 12 Ultra’s specs could be identical to the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro minus its gaming-focused features. Therefore, it is likely to arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 165Hz screen, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 32-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera setup. Under the hood, the device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,800mAh battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.
