The Oppo Find N5, set to debut in February, is one of the most anticipated foldable phones of the year. Touted as the world’s thinnest foldable phone, it will also be the first-ever foldable to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The brand is expected to unveil the Find X8 Ultra in March in China. A new leak on Weibo reveals that the Find N5 and Find X8 Ultra, which are already expected to feature a periscope telephoto camera, will also support macro shooting capabilities.
Find N5, X8 Ultra may have a telephoto macro camera
According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Find N5 will arrive with customized ultra-thin flat displays on both the inner and outer screens for a slimmer design. Both the Find N5 and the upcoming Find X8 Ultra will be equipped with a telephoto macro camera.
The inclusion of macro shooting capitalise suggest that the Find N5 and X8 Ultra will be capable at capturing detailed close-ups of small subjects like flowers or insects while also offering telephoto zoom for distant shots.
As per reports, the Find N5 will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto. The X8 Ultra is said to have four 50-megapixel cameras, which will possibly include a one-inch primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, a 3x periscope telephoto camera, and a 6x periscope telephoto camera.
The Find X8 and X8 Pro that are already available in the market feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset. The upcoming Ultra model will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite onboard. Apart from the Find X8 Ultra, the Find X8 Mini equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chip is also expected to launch in March in China.
As per other reports, the brand is also said to be working on the Find X8S, which may debut with the new Dimensity 9400+ chip in the second quarter of this year. The Find X8 Ultra and X8S may likely remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
