Vivo V50 is making its way to the Indian market soon. We just don’t know when yet, but the company has started teasing the smartphone via the country’s social media handles.

Vivo shared its first teaser for the V50 yesterday on X (formerly Twitter). As expected from the V-series, the phone’s main highlight will be its cameras, and the tagline “Capture Your Forever” suggests the same.

For now, that’s all the company has revealed—no specs, no launch date, just a teaser. But given the timing, we can expect more details to drop soon.

A poster leaked earlier this week also gave us a look at the smartphone’s back design. There is a pill-shaped raised island with a circular camera module that houses two image sensors. The Rose Red hue, reportedly inspired by Indian weddings, also looks really good in the renders.

Vivo V50 Specifications

While Vivo hasn’t confirmed any hardware details yet, the V50 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S20, which launched in China in December 2024. This wouldn’t be surprising—previous V-series models have largely been repackaged versions of China-exclusive S-series devices. And based on the leaked design, that seems to be the case once again.

Vivo S20

If the specs remain unchanged, the Vivo V50 will likely feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For cameras, the S20 comes with a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus, along with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The device packs a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging—which, if unchanged, could make the V50 one of the longest-lasting phones in its segment.

With the teasers rolling out and leaks piling up, an official launch announcement for the Vivo V50 should be right around the corner. Stay tuned.
