Here’s a good news for those eying the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Whether you’re looking to buy outright or trade in an older device, this seems to be the perfect time to upgrade.
Last week, Samsung offered a $100 discount on the Galaxy Watch Ultra which didn’t even require you to trade in your existing watch. This week, that discount has been bumped up to $120, bringing the price down to $529 (from $649). If you’re not willing to trade in, this is a solid deal.

For those willing to part with an old smartwatch though, the trade-in values have also increased. Instead of capping at $350, you can now get up to $400 for select models. High-value trade-ins include the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Apple Watch Ultra, and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Even older Apple Watches like the Series 8 and Series 9 are eligible for $375.
Samsung is also offering a $150 discount if you trade-in “any smartwatch, in any condition.” However, since the no−trade−in discount is now $120, you’re only saving an extra $30 by trading in a device worth less than $150. So, you will have to choose wisely.

Why the Galaxy Watch Ultra?
With a titanium body (Titanium Grade 4) and MIL-STD 810H certification, it’s built to withstand tough conditions. It also comes with an optional water sports strap, making it perfect for swimmers and adventurers alike. The watch has a 47mm dial with a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It is available in three stylish colors: titanium rock gray, titanium platinum silver, and titanium porcelain white.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the 3nm Exynos W1000 chipset, which, according to Samsung, is significantly more capable and more efficient than its predecessor. This is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
With a 590mAh battery, the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers up to 80 hours of battery life (with power-saving mode disabled).
If you’ve been eyeing the Galaxy Watch Ultra, now’s the time to grab it. With improved discounts and trade-in values, Samsung is making it easier than ever to upgrade to its latest and greatest smartwatch.
