A fresh leak has revealed interesting details regarding an upcoming Oppo flagship smartphone that will have a compact form factor. The Find X8 Mini has just been spotted in a fresh leak that confirmed some of its key specs and its rumored launch timeline as well. So here are all the details.
Oppo Find X8 Mini: Compact Display with a new Alert button
In a recent leak, it was revealed that the Chinese tech giant might be planning on ditching the iconic Alert Slider entirely, in favor of a new remappable button like the Action button found on the latest iPhones. This new alert button is reportedly also making its way to the Find X8 Mini as well. The Find X8 Ultra leak from known tipster Digital Chat Station also revealed that the Find X8 Mini might launch alongside this top end flagship.
In other words, we can expect the small premium device to debut sometime in March 2025. A separate more recent leak from DCS revealed more details regarding its specifications. The Find X8 Mini could sport a 6.3-inch LTPO flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, and narrow bezels on all sides on the front. Meanwhile, the rear pack pack a 50MP ultra slim periscope telephoto shooter to keep the device thin.
Other notable features include a short focus optical fingerprint scanner, wireless fast charging support, and a three stage alert button that is replacing the Alert Slider. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation at this point so take this report with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more.
