There have been plenty of rumors regarding Apple working on a new ultra slim iPhone model, which could be called the iPhone 17 Air. We recently saw the device in concept renders, and now, another set of renders has just leaked that showcase a slightly different design language. So let’s check it out.

Apple iPhone 17 Air New Renders Leaked

The Cupertino based giant’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air surfaced in a video from Front Page Tech that offers us a look at the device from all sides. Its ultra slim body is in full view, which could measure just under 6mm in thickness. But one of the biggest changes in the entire new iPhone model is the camera module. Ditching the minimalistic look from the other recent iPhones, this render showcases the iPhone 17 Air with a pill shaped module.

This appears similar to the visor on the Google Pixel smartphones. The renders are in line with previous reports, since we can only see a single camera on the back (likely a 48MP sensor) along with an LED flash module. The entire placement in this pill shaped module is different from the concept render we covered yesterday. Apple may bring the Dynamic Island on the front, while the A19 chip could power this device.

The iPhone 17 Air and Galaxy S25 Slim (Samsung’s own slim phone competitor) might also launch with the smallest batteries on a 2025 smartphone. The Air model could be borrowing its name from the brand’s MacBook Air lineup and is expected to offer a 120Hz ProMotion display, Apple’s 5G modem, the A19 chip, Wi-Fi 7, and a more durable display glass. It could launch for around 1000 US Dollars between September and October 2025. This is all the information we have at the moment, so stick around for more.
