Infinix is gearing up to introduce a major AI upgrade for its devices, with DeepSeek R1 integration set to enhance the Folax voice assistant. According to inside sources, the official announcement is expected on Feb. 26. The new AI-powered features will debut in the upcoming Note 50 series, which is scheduled to launch on March 3 in Indonesia.

DeepSeek R1 is being deeply integrated into Folax, enabling seamless AI-driven voice interactions. Users will be able to access it via voice activation or a simple press of the power button, making it easier to perform searches and execute commands. Early testing suggests noticeable improvements in response speed and comprehension, with Folax now capable of showing its reasoning process for complex queries.
DeepSeek has rapidly gained traction as one of the fastest-growing AI applications worldwide. It has topped download charts on both Apple’s App Store and the Google Play Store, ranking first in 140 countries. Some users even consider it a more effective alternative to ChatGPT due to its affordability, enhanced accuracy in technical tasks, customization options, and faster response times.
Infinix Note 50 series to launch in March
Infinix has already confirmed that the Note 50 series will debut on March 3 in Indonesia. The lineup is expected to include multiple models, such as the Note 50, Note 50 Pro, Note 50 Pro+, Note 50S, Note 50X, Note 50 (4G), and Note 50 Pro (4G). However, not all variants may be launched simultaneously, with some models likely arriving at a later date.
