Xiaomi confirmed its flagship 15 and 15 Ultra smartphones will debut globally on March 2, 2025, with an Amazon India landing page now live, teasing the Ultra’s design. The launch event, tagged “The Next Pinnacle,” streams live at 6:30 PM IST.

The 15 Ultra, codenamed “Night God,” was recently confirmed to feature a Leica Ultra-Pure Optical System, pairing a 1-inch main sensor with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens (likely Samsung’s HP9), replacing the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s 50MP Sony IMX858. The setup promises enhanced low-light performance, dynamic range, and lossless zoom up to 17.3x. A previous leak suggests that the phone will feature a quad-camera configuration that includes a 50MP primary sensor (f/1.63), 50MP ultra-wide (14mm, f/2.2), 50MP telephoto macro (70mm, f/1.8), and the 200MP periscope supporting 0.6x to 17.3x zoom.

Xiaomi will unveil the 15 Ultra in China on February 27 alongside the SU7 Ultra EV and Redmi Book Pro 2025 laptop. The global models hit Indian markets after their March 2 reveal, with pricing announced on March 18 and sales starting on March 21.

Indian buyers can register for updates on Amazon’s dedicated page. While specifics about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s chipset, battery, and display remain undisclosed, reports suggest a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Meanwhile, the regular Xiaomi 15 is expected to retain the same specs as the Chinese model.
