Oppo Find X8 Ultra variants have reportedly received 3C certification in China, confirming their readiness for launch. At the same time, the standard model has also received approval from the MIIT authority of the country, indicating that the phone is all set to debut in April. Additionally, a leaked image has given a glimpse of the device, revealing an interesting design choice.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra series bags 3C certification
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Ultra Satellite Communication Version, bearing respective model numbers PKJ110 and PKU110, have been spotted in China’s 3C certification platform database. The certification reveals that both devices may ship with a VCBAOBCH charger that supports up to 100W wired charging.
Both models are also expected to support 50W wireless charging. Another screenshot shows that the standard version has received MIIT certification. This indicates that the device may soon appear with all its key specs in TENAA’s database in the next few days.
One of the most striking aspects of the Find X8 Ultra is its flat display, a rarity in Ultra-tier smartphones from Chinese brands. The image (shown below) shared by Oppo Find Product Manager Zhou Yibao gives a first look at the flat display of the X8 Ultra.
According to reports, the Find X8 Ultra’s quad-camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 sensor with a 1-inch size. Accompanying it is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 6x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 periscope lens with 3x zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it will feature a 32-megapixel front camera. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 6,000mAh battery.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is confirmed to launch in April in China. It is speculated that the brand may also unveil the Find X8 Mini (unofficial name) and the Find X8S smartphones alongside it.
