Red Magic is gearing up to launch the Cooler 6 Pro, its next-gen smartphone cooling accessory, on March 17 at 17:00 in China, as confirmed by the brand’s official Weibo handle. The Cooler 6 Pro maintains the aggressive gaming aesthetics of its predecessor, the VC Cooler 5 Pro, while introducing refined cooling technology and design improvements.

Red Magic Cooler 6 Pro Specs (Teased)
From the official images, the Cooler 6 Pro will feature a Silver color finish and a striking RGB lighting ring. The cooler adopts an enhanced upper and lower air outlet design with a widened air duct for improved airflow. The key highlight appears to be a larger 40x40mm semiconductor cooling plate, promising better heat dissipation during intense gaming sessions.
While Red Magic remains tight-lipped about further details, looking back at the Cooler 5 Pro provides a glimpse of what to expect. The previous model debuted in April last year with an advanced liquid-cooled VC radiator, capable of dropping smartphone temperatures by up to 35°C, reaching as low as -12°C. It could lower a phone’s temperature from 28°C to 0°C in just 30 seconds, thanks to its high-powered 36W TEC cooling system.
The cyberpunk-inspired design of the Cooler 5 Pro, featuring a transparent shell showcasing its internal hardware, has been a standout. It also features RGB lighting effects, enhancing the immersive gaming experience. The dual-mode attachment system supports both MagSafe-style magnetic mounting and a clip-on mechanism, ensuring compatibility with various devices. It also integrates AI thermal control through Red Magic’s Goper app, allowing Android users to tweak fan speeds, temperature levels, and lighting effects.
Red Magic recently expanded its lineup with the Cooler 5, a more affordable variant priced at $27. It offers a 30W peak cooling power and a 24W sustained output, with an aerospace-grade aluminum heat sink and a high-speed seven-blade fan. A strong magnetic attachment ensures stability even during high-intensity gaming sessions, while a floating air duct prevents hot air from disrupting the user’s grip.
Meanwhile, Red Magic’s parent brand, Nubia, is also making waves with the global launch of the Flip 2, featuring a larger cover display and waterproofing, alongside the Neo 3 gaming series, which boasts AI-powered features and shoulder triggers. With these new releases, the brand is clearly doubling down on its gaming-centric ecosystem, pushing performance and design boundaries yet again.
