Lenovo has launched the Tab K9, also known as the Lenovo Tab One, a budget-friendly tablet with an 8.7-inch LCD display, offering a 1340 x 800 resolution and 480 nits brightness, with an 86% screen-to-body ratio.

Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, the Tab K9 runs on Android 14 with Lenovo ZUI 16, ensuring smooth performance. Lenovo has promised OS upgrades up to Android 15 and security patches until January 2027.

The Tab K9 is equipped with 4GB RAM and storage options of 64GB or 128GB, expandable via a microSD card slot. It includes a 5100mAh battery with 15W fast charging, delivering up to 12.5 hours of video playback and 16.5 hours of web browsing.

For connectivity, the tablet supports WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. The LTE variant covers multiple GSM, UMTS, and LTE bands. Security features include Face Unlock, though it lacks a fingerprint sensor.

The audio setup consists of dual Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers and a single microphone, enhancing the multimedia experience. On the camera front, the device sports a 2MP fixed-focus front camera and an 8MP autofocus rear camera.

The Lenovo Tab K9 weighs approximately 320g and is available in Luna Grey and Seafoam Green color variants. The package includes a USB Type-C 2.0 cable, a 20W charger, and a SIM tray pin.

Details about regional availability and pricing are yet to be revealed.

In other news, Lenovo has also teased the Idea Tab Pro on Amazon India, featuring Google Gemini AI with Circle to Search, Instant Translation, and Chat assistance. It sports a 12.7-inch 3K (2944 × 1820) 144Hz display and runs on MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
