Realme has just released a new budget smartphone in India that offers one of the best value for its price. The Realme P3 5G packs some impressive specs and features that one might see in a premium smartphone, despite having an affordable price tag. Realme P3: Specs and Features
The Chinese brand’s new Realme P3 is a slim smartphone that measures just 7.97mm in thickness and 194 grams in weight. On the front, it sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 1500 Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 2000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is the first phone in India to be equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
This model runs on the Android 15 OS based Realme UI 6.0 custom skin out of the box. Despite its thin body, the Realme P3 packs a massive 6,000mAh battery pack, which supports 45W wired fast charging. Among the various features that make it special, one aspect that stands out is the flagship grade IP69 rating. This means that the smartphone offers the highest level of protection against dust and water (withstand high pressure and high temperature water jets).
For photography, the rear has a 50MP + 2MP dual camera setup with the front housing a 16MP selfie shooter Other notable features includes stereo speakers, Dual SIM support, WiGi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and GT Boost for 90fps gameplay on BGMI.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme P3 was just announced in multiple color options, namely Comet Gray, Nebula Pink, and Space Silver. It has a starting price tag of Rs 16,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations cost Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively. The first sale will kick off on 19th March 2025 via the brand’s official website, Flipkart, and offline retailers. As a part of its introductory launch offer, the company is offering a Rs 2,000 bank discount along with a Rs 500 exchange bonus.
