OnePlus has begun a phased rollout of OxygenOS 15.0.0.703 for the OnePlus 13 in India (CPH2649_15.0.0.703(EX01)), with global expansion pending. The update introduces security upgrades, system improvements, and the March 2025 Android security patch.

The update includes several changes in security and system functions. Users will now be prompted to link their privacy password to their OnePlus account. This allows password reset through the account if the privacy password is forgotten, providing a way to regain access to private data. The March 2025 Android security patch is also included.

System improvements cover better text translation for Breeno Touch, along with updates aimed at system stability and performance.

User feedback on the OnePlus Community forum has been divided. While some acknowledge the update’s intent, multiple battery life concerns have emerged. Several users reported screen-on time (SOT) dropping to 4–6 hours, with one stating, “Battery is why I upgraded, but backup is unsatisfactory.” Others noted increased drain compared to prior versions.

Touchscreen responsiveness issues were also mentioned, including delayed inputs and accidental double taps. A user highlighted screen flickering when switching from apps like WhatsApp, asking, “Are there steps to fix this?” Some observed unintended UI changes, such as adjusted font sizes and misaligned widgets.

OnePlus encourages users to report issues via the “Bug Report” section in the OnePlus Community App or by dialing *#800#. The company reiterated the update’s incremental rollout, asking for patience as broader deployment begins “in a few days.” OnePlus has not yet issued an official response to the battery or display concerns. Indian users are the first to receive the build, with global availability dependent on stability assessments.
