BenQ officially unveiled a brand new premium projector in the Indian market. The company debuted the BenQ W2720i, which is an LED AI Home Cinema Projector that brings support for ultra high resolution and other high end features for an improved home entertainment experience. So let’s check it out.
This launch also arrives a month after the BenQ LH750 projector was announced in Europe, while the BenQ GW2790Q100Hz monitor launched in India back in January 2025.
BenQ W2720i 4K LED AI Home Cinema Projector Specs
The company’s latest projector features a 4LED (RGBB) light source that promises to offer up to 30,000 hours of operational lifespan. It can project up to 120 inches on a surface from just 2.7 meters away. Although, its maximum projection screen size can hit 200 inches. The BenQ W2720i arrives with an Auto Screen Fit with Vertical Lens Shift and more. This LED projector can output up to 2500 ANXI lumens of brightness and project in 4K resolution (UHD).
The company promises that the projector offers a 90 percent DCI P3 color gamut with enhancers for dynamic contrast in HDR10+ and HLG modes. Thanks to more customized viewing modes, users also get access to Filmmaker mode and Cinema mode. The projector arrives with the AI Cinema Mode that uses integrated camera sensors for real time ambient brightness adjustments.
Other notable features include Android TV dongle, Chromecast, Google Assistant, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, eARC for 7.1-channel sound with Dolby Atmos, and twin 5W speakers. Connectivity options include 3x HDMI 2.1, HDMI-Internal (2.0b), 2x USB-A, USB Mini-B, RS232, and 12V Trigger.
