Ninkear has introduced the Mbox 8 Pro, a modular mini PC that delivers desktop-level performance in a compact design, aimed at creators, developers, and users seeking both power and portability. Let’s check out its key specs.

Ninkear Mbox 8 Pro Specifications
The mini PC features AMD’s Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, built on the advanced Zen 4+ architecture. This 8-core, 16-thread CPU clocks up to 5.1GHz, delivering ample power for demanding tasks such as video editing, 3D rendering, and software development. It also equips the integrated AMD Radeon 780M GPU based on RDNA 2 architecture, sporting 12 compute units and a graphics frequency of up to 2700MHz.
It comes with 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400MT/s, offering smooth multitasking and quick responsiveness. Storage-wise, the Mbox 8 Pro includes a 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD within the main unit, while its modular expansion base supports an additional M.2 2280 drive, allowing users to scale up to 2TB of total storage.
The mini PC also comes with a modular two-part design. The main unit magnetically attaches to a stackable expansion base that enhances connectivity. The base sports multiple ports, including two USB-A 5Gbps, two USB-A 480Mbps, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, dual Ethernet ports (2.5GbE + 1GbE), and a 3.5mm audio jack. The main unit also features a front-facing full-function USB-C port, a rear USB-C port, and a power button.

Despite packing performance hardware, the Mbox 8 Pro maintains a compact and lightweight profile. The main unit measures just 99mm x 99mm x 37mm, while the base adds 25mm in height, bringing the total to 65mm. It weighs only 483 grams and features a lightweight ABS shell, metal mesh ventilation, dual dust filters, and an internal cooling system. An RGB breathing light on the top panel adds a visual accent.
It supports triple-display output via HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C, all capable of 4K at 60Hz—ideal for productivity-driven, multi-monitor setups. The system is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux, giving users the flexibility to run their preferred OS. For wireless connectivity, it comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Pricing and Availability
Currently, the Mbox 8 Pro is available only in a 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD configuration. It’s priced at €649.99 (sale price), down from its original price of €799.99.
