Honor has officially launched the Play 60 and Play 60m smartphones in China, successors to last year’s Play 50 series. Both devices feature identical hardware but differ in color options and pricing.
Honor Play 60 & Play 60m features

The Play 60 and 60m are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset with an octa-core CPU (2×A76 at 2.4GHz + 6×A55 at 2.0GHz) and ARM G57 MC2 GPU. They run MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. Both phones sport a 6.61-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels, 1010 nits peak brightness, and support for 10-point multitouch. Eye protection and natural light viewing modes are included.

Camera specifications are identical across both models. The rear setup features a 13MP main camera (f/1.8) with 10x digital zoom and 1080p video recording. The front houses a 5MP camera (f/2.2), also capable of 1080p recording. Photography features include night mode, dual-view video, HDR, time-lapse, and smile capture.
Both phones come in 6GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB variants. The battery capacity is 6000mAh, supporting 5V/3A wired charging and smart charging modes. Both are rated IP64 for dust and water resistance.
Connectivity includes dual SIM support, 5G compatibility across China’s major carriers, Wi-Fi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (with AGPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo), USB Type-C, OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Security features include face unlock, app lock, AI face-change detection, privacy assistance, and payment protection. Additional tools include e-book mode, device clone, app clone, and knuckle gestures.
Pricing & availability
The Honor Play 60 is priced at 1,199 Yuan for 6/128GB and 1,399 Yuan for 8/256GB, and is available in Ink Rock Black, Jade Dragon Snow, and Xiaoshan Qing. The Play 60m is priced at 1,699 Yuan (6/128GB), 2,199 Yuan (8/256GB), and 2,599 Yuan (12/256GB), and is available in Ink Rock Black, Jade Dragon Snow, and Morning Glow Gold.
