The Chinese tech giant’s next gen flip phone recently surfaced on the 3C database carrying the model numbers 2505APX7BC and 2505APX7BG. The former is the Chinese variant, while the latter is expected to be the global version of the Mix Flip 2. While this certification didn’t reveal many details regarding the upcoming foldable, it did list the Mix Flip 2 with the MDY-15-EQ power brick. This model supports up to 67W wired fast charging.

Back in February, Xiaomi’s new flagship flip phone had a bunch of its key specs leaked. A tipster claimed that the Mix Flip 2 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The company is also rumored to bring refinements to the cover display as well. Some of the biggest upgrades include the IPX8 rating for water resistance, a sizeable 5,050mAh battery pack, and even 50W wireless fast charging support.

Other notable features include a tall 6.85-inch LTPO foldable OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, NFC support, a slim 7.6mm body, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Xiaomi has yet to confirm the launch of the Mix Flip 2, but it is expected to debut sometime in the second quarter of 2025.
