KTC has launched a new 27-inch monitor in the Chinese market, the H27P3, and it’s clearly aimed at creatives, professionals, and hybrid users who don’t want to compromise between sharp visuals and smooth motion. The display just went live on JD.com, retailing for 2499 yuan ($344).

KTC H27P3 Monitor Specifications
The H27P3 offers two distinct performance modes: a crisp 5K resolution (5120 x 2880) at 60Hz or a 2K mode at a faster 120Hz refresh rate. That flexibility means users can toggle between ultra-detailed static work—like photo editing, CAD, and color grading—and more responsive use cases like gaming or video playback. It’s the kind of dual-mode approach that appeals to hybrid workflows, especially for people switching between creative suites and productivity tools throughout the day.
Visually, the monitor is tuned for accuracy. The IPS panel supports DisplayHDR 400, boasts a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits of typical brightness, and supports 1.07 billion colors (8-bit + FRC). KTC claims color accuracy of △E ≤ 1, with factory calibration for 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 99% Adobe RGB color spaces. That puts it in serious territory for tasks like print design and color-sensitive video editing.
And it’s not just about pixels and color. The H27P3 is macOS-friendly, optimized for high-DPI scaling, and comes with hardware-level low blue light filtering and DC dimming to reduce eye strain during extended use. The 7ms response time is serviceable for most uses, and variable refresh rate support via FreeSync and G-Sync compatible modes makes it even more versatile.
Connectivity is future-ready: HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-A, a 65W USB-C port for both display and laptop charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The USB-C port is especially valuable for MacBook users or anyone trying to keep desk clutter to a minimum. There’s also KVM support via the USB-A ports for seamless switching between connected devices.
The monitor ships with a fully adjustable ergonomic stand (supporting height, tilt, and rotation), and KTC bundles it with a DisplayPort cable, USB-C cable, power adapter, and even a screwdriver. At 3.75kg, it’s not the lightest around, but it’s compact enough to fit into most desk setups.
In related news, AOC has recently introduced a new 26.5-inch 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor featuring a 240Hz refresh rate and professional-grade color accuracy. Meanwhile, Acer has unveiled a gaming monitor that pushes boundaries with an astonishing 600Hz refresh rate.
