By simply searching for any Pokémon name, users get access to a detailed information panel, effectively transforming Google Search into a handy digital Pokédex.

Just like a Pokédex, the information panel appears at the top of the search results, making it easy to access without navigating through multiple websites. The information offered also makes it appear similar to the classic Pokédex entries from the Pokémon games, offering a comprehensive overview for both casual fans and dedicated trainers.

The key stats revealed on the search include data like the Pokémon’s type, evolution stages, abilities, and even height and weight. This feature is particularly useful for quickly referencing Pokémon details during discussions, gameplay, or simply to satisfy a nostalgic curiosity. That’s not all, the feature is available for mobile users can also find a Poké Ball button that they can tap to catch that Pokémon. Those logged in can keep track of all the Pokémons that caught on their Google Pokédex.

In total, there are only the 151 original Pokémons available with this easter egg. Google has also added that there are Legendary and Mythical Pokémons as well that will require a Master Ball to capture. You can get these by earning points by catching regular Pokémons.
